Performance Heat and Air

Our 22-year-old AC/heat pump system died in the middle of the July/August 2022 heat, with outdoor temps consistently above 100 degrees. I found Performance Heat and Air on The Good Contractors List, visited their web site, and made a call. The service technician, Chris, arrived the same day, found that the AC compressor was dead, inspected the air handler unit, and suggested that due to the system's age and inefficiency, we should consider replacing the system. There was no pressure, no sales pitch; he contacted his office, and despite the fact it was well after 5 p.m., they returned his call and said their consultant would be out the following day between 1-3 p.m. Drew called the following morning and actually arrived ahead of schedule. He was very helpful, providing information on different systems, costs, and rebates; and after some paperwork, he was able to schedule installation to begin between 6:45-7:45 a.m. the next day.
