I waited 3 months to give this review because I wanted to verify my AC was still good. I had a unit go out in May and I called Harris. The tech said it was old and needed to be replaced. I agreed it was old, but I wanted to get a few more years from it. He said they could try to fix it and gave me an estimate of $2300 - new fan motor, new fan blades, new control panel, new drip pan, etc. He very gladly quoted me $12000 for a new system. Um - let me get a second opinion. Called Joplins - I just needed a new capacitor. Done - working fine all summer and still going. People just want some honesty … that’s it. Don’t need to up sale everything.

One of our 3 AC units was operating poorly. I was referred to Harris Air from a trusted AC company that doesn't work in my area. From the start, Preston was courteous, professional, thorough and knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the issues and repaired my system at a fair price. He pointed out that the unit in question needed replacement (it's the oldest unit we have at 17 years) but worked with me to get the old unit back up and running. While he was here, I had him check my other AC units which all checked out OK, without telling me I needed several other repairs. I will be using them on all of my repairs and also signed up for their service contract to check the systems twice yearly.
