Knight In Shining Armor Heating & Air

This company was hired to diagnose a problem I was having with the furnace in a recently purchased home. I bought a home warranty thru old republic with the home purchase and knight in shining Armour (KISA) was their contracted repair service. I was greeted by the owners young son who proceeded to tell me that the very first thing I need to do is clean the system for an out of pocket cost of $375 or my claim to the home warranty company would not be accepted. He then proceeded to tell me that both the heater and the AC unit were inoperable and needed replaced. He suspected a power issue. He submitted a repair order to the home warranty company for over $6,000. The warranty company called and asked several questions about any electrical failure and I began to grow suspicious about KISA. I decided to call a local independent contractor to come take a look and discovered there was absolutely NOTHING wrong with my AC unit and the furnace was fixed in 15 minutes with a $30 part! I had been dealing with a “Choice home” warranty issue for five weeks, when I finally called “Knight in shining armor”, I had heard great things about this company from Neighbors! The owner answered my call I explained that we had been without AC for five weeks in the Texas heat and he was at my house within the hour. As he made the drive over , He provided a status of where he was several times. Amazing! Once he arrived, He did a very detailed job over the next 2 1/2 hours, thoroughly checking everything out and getting my unit up and running. Within two hours our house was cool again. At 8 o’clock that evening Robert called back to see how the AC was working . We were so pleasantly surprised when we got his call! I don’t know of another company that Has that incredible follow up!
