Service: gas line replace/repair and test When: December 29, 2022 (~5 days after freeze) Story: I was able to get technicians to the house for service when all other plumbers were unable to have a technician out for at least a week. Technicians arrived on time highlighted the necessary repairs and were able to complete the service the same afternoon. I am curious about the receipt: 1) It is two line items for receipt. I would have preferred a more itemized receipt to show a differentiation of parts vs labor. 2) The repair was noticeably more expensive than I had expected (not from the quote, from my gut guess). I'm not sure why the gas line test was $700...nor why the replacement piece (and labor presumably) was $1700. However, beggars cannot be choosers and they were able to resolve issue quickly. I convinced myself that I was paying a premium for fastest solution. Gas lines are not something I want to fix on my own. Update on 12/30/2022: when CenterPoint came out to turn gas back on,
