Long story short: Jakob fixed our AC free of charge! I have had many poor experiences with professionals where I feel like I’ve been ripped off, and frankly I have a hard time trusting most contractors because of this. I don’t really know all the ins and outs of an AC system, and I could be mislead. Jakob talked me through what he was doing and why, found that the issue was something fairly straightforward to solve (a bad temperature sensor that wasn’t even needed in the first place), and adjusted the wiring to bypass the sensor. AC works. He said that since he didn’t use any parts and originally came for a free inspection, he wouldn’t charge anything. I strongly recommend!
