I am grateful to have what I paid for, which is my items moved to an apartment ACROSS THE STREET. I am not very happy with the time it took for the move. 8 hrs for 2 tvs, a couch and love seat, a king size bed and a queen size mattress, including of course an entire 1 Br apt (clothes, kitchen, misc. items). It was a dragged out job and literally no sense of urgency at all. However, the way the pay works is $299 for 2 hr and 2 men then $99 every hour after so of course they would move slow to work. I also moved from and to a high rise so I had the freight elevator scheduled and we nowhere near were in those time slot even after I confirmed the time a few times with the team. I think if the pay were an even pay, then the experience may have been better but 8 hours for a 1 br was just excessive and was not the reason I hired movers. We recently had a 2 bed 2 bath local move from Oxon Hill Maryland to Alexandria VA and the Brothers team was truly fantastic. We have never used movers before and were nervous about cost and had heard horror stories from friends about other companies. The team showed up right at 8 AM and got to work. The team leader was incredibly communicative about estimated cost and time throughout the move. Everything was delivered in perfect condition and cost much less than we anticipated. Honestly we expected it to be a day from hell and we were so impressed and surprised by how great the team was. Cannot recommend them enough and will definitely use them in the future.
