The gentleman who came here to sell us the unit was excellent. He was professional, knew his products and took the time to see exactly what we needed. The pair of men who installed the unit were also good. My only complaint is that they didn't police the area when they left. I picked up a trash bag full of bits and pieces of "stuff" that had just been left outside when the old unit was removed and when the new one installed. They worked diligently, and were very good about showing me all I needed to know to make the system work. I would certainly recommend this company to friends and family based on my experience. I would give them 0 stars if I could. We purchased a furnace with McCarthy in 2020 and ever since then we have had issues. The company prides itself on offering you their ‘Ultimate Comfort Guarantee’ which is a complete joke. The truth is I’ve spoken with their General Manager and Quality Manager and neither care about you or your comfort. I was without heat for multiple days waiting on warranty answers from the General Manager. The Manager never responded and eventually pushed us off to the Quality Manager who admittedly knows nothing about furnace repairs and maintenance. I was forced to use an outside company just so I could finally have heat in my house for the Thanksgiving holiday while they sat on my claim and let me know two weeks later they had decided not to honor the warranty claim. Do yourself a favor and use any other company for your heating and cooling needs.
The McCarthy Services team was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to do business with. Brian led the process with great communication and attention to the details and was constantly available to answer questions. The service crew was great- courteous, friendly, tidy, and professional.
