Norfolk Air Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical

My lights in the dinning room and kitchen recently went out and after a couple of days the dinning room outlets went out as well, when I called norfolk air I told them exactly what was happening and they said it would be 90 dollars for diagnostics and then they would give me a quote to fix it. When the electrician showed up, I told him exactly what I told whoever scheduled him out on the phone, he walked in and flipped my kitchen switch like 4 times, did a walk around the dinning room and then said he would be back with a quote. He then charged me the 90 dollars. 90 dollars for him to walk in turn a switch on and off four times and for me to repeat exactly what I said on the phone. Diagnostics is identifying the problem. I feel like it should be made more clear that it just means walking in to see the problem or if that’s the case just quote me for what might have to be done, but to charge 90 dollars for nothing is a little ridiculous to me.

On one of the hottest days in the city of Norfolk, my plumbing was backed up in my downstairs bathroom to the point where it was coming up thru the drain in my shower. NO NEED TO PANIC!!! I have recently used Norfolk Air for their Plumbing services last month due to the flooding issues I’ve experienced over the years living in the city of Norfolk. This company always display a high level of positive customer service and knowledgeable professionals, so there’s never a doubt in my mind as of who to call to service my need. (Also, if you need someone to service your HVAC there are great for that too!) I called round 11:30am in the morning and was greeted by a customer service representative to set my appointment for the same day! (My apologies for I forgot her name) By 2:40pm in the afternoon I received a text from their professional service technician, Darrion Williams-Gibbs letting me know that he was in route to service my need. I had the subscription service but recently cancelled it. Pros: quick response times especially when I had issues with my system, and for the most part professional service. Cons: I felt taken advantage of when I had to pay over $500 for only 2.5 pounds of 410a refrigerant and was still charged a service fee even though I paid a monthly subscription. That still did not fix the issue but I have no interest in continually paying these high prices plus service fees when I have consulted other HVAC contractors who can do the work cheaper.
