Ask for a estimate before you allow him to do anything. Charges 100 dollars an hour. Charges for his driving to your house charges for standing in line to get parts for your job and maybe other jobs for the day. Just hope that he is first in line. If he stands in your house and engages in small talk he charges you. I had him do work for me. He replaced a bathroom faucet, a bathtub spigot, a cartilage in a sink handle, fixed a leaking toilet and installed a kitchen faucet. I bought the bathroom and kitchen faucets. The parts he supplied were 291 dollars and charged 700 dollars for labor. When questioned he said he charges for travel and getting parts. He was physically in my house at the most 3 hours. Much of that was him talking about his family. Although I was interested I am not interested enough to pay 100 dollars an hour! I take complete blame for not asking for a estimate. Called Jason about a leaky toilet. Less than 3 hours after my call, a faulty installation by another contractor had been fully repaired at a reasonable price. Have used Jason on several occasions, with excellent results each time.
