Classic Plumbing Solutions

We had an old toilet that needed to be replaced after many attempts to keep it functioning. We also had been living with a tiny, but steady leak under our kitchen sink, which had made a nasty mess. I discovered Custom Plumbing Solutions of Salem, Va on the Internet. Jason and Allan (sp?), quoted us a price to replace the toilet and the kitchen pipes that was compatible with our budget. They were prompt, very pleasant and did both jobs quickly. We are happy to recommend their business!

Jason and his crew were outstanding. We just moved here from Arizona and purchased a home. We started experiencing some pretty serious plumbing issues right off the bat. We had a plumber come out (by recommendation) he charged us heavy and didn’t fix the issue. Then we had our septic emptied by another company and the problem persisted. We called Classic Plumbing and they sent Jason out with his guys. He listened to what we were experiencing, used the appropriate tools to assess the problem and came up with a solution. The following week he returned with his crew and went to work. I was impressed that his prediction was 100% correct. Unfortunately they had to go through our back patio concrete to get to the broken pipe but they did everything they could minimized the damage to the patio. By knowing exactly where to dig they saved us a lot of money and time redoing the patio. Having an experienced plumber like Jason and a crew who cares about doing a great job makes all the difference.

I had a miniscule amount of water leaking from around the base of the toilet. Two "plumbers" came out and assessed the only solution was replacing about three inches of pipe under the toilet for $2,000+ dollars. This was the only solution for water leaking around the base of the toilet. They hammered home it was an ugly and difficult job, but doable for the right price (their price). No other explanation was given as to how that pertained to the problem of water leaking around the base of the toilet. I paid the exuberant diagnostic fee and sent them on the way. I had another more respectable and knowledgable plumbing company come out who fixed the issue for around $200. The solution was a new wax ring and flange which fixed the issue. For a place called Classic Plumbing Solutions, I expected an actual solution.
