Had a high water bill so I called Fairfax Water who came out and confirmed I had a leak. Able Plumbing was recommended on Nextdoor so after doing some internet searches I called them. They answered my call immediately and came the next day. Rob gave me some suggestions on how to find the leak and I was able to rule out the possibility of a water main leak before he showed up saving time and money. Rob found I had a leaky toilet and repaired it quickly and for a reasonable price. So refreshing to find a honest helpful reliable plumber for a good price. Service: Plumbing leak detection

I don't normally leave reviews, but others need to be warned. We used this company before without any issues - Found them on the old Angie's List - they came highly recommended. However, they have gone down hill. Most businesses these days send you a text or email to confirm an appointment with specific details (date, time, purpose of visit), but not Able Plumbing. They call you during rush hour the day before, while you are on a noisy train, and tell you they will be there the next day, but without detailing the time. Our appointment was for December 3rd between 8 am and 12 noon, because we have holiday plans, getting together with friends and family, both in the afternoon and evening - we have a busy schedule this time of year. I can't believe I set an alarm on a Saturday to get up early to be ready for the plumber by 8am! We waited and waited until shortly after noon. We tried calling twice and were hung-up on!!
