BUYER BEWARE: DEAR SERVICES TAKES YOUR MONEY AND RUNS! On May 6, 2022 I purchased a “Full Most Popular Lifetime Warranty 16 Seer Heat Pump and 80% Furnace” totaling $20,245. The first week it ran well and then all of a sudden it stopped working. Dear Services comes back and they install a new thermos stat saying that was the problem and a dirty filter! WHAT! Several months later the furnace stops working and the temperature is 55*. After numerous calls to get someone out they come again and tell me this time “dirty filter” even after I had a schedule to replace my filter’s every 3 months! WHAT! My heat pump has stopped working 4 times and each time an electrician tells me, “oh, it’s wired wrong “ and they find the blown fuses circuit board and tell me, “huh, must be rodents chewing through the wires”! WHAT, from the exact same spot!! I’ve taken time off of work only to have them cancel the appointment or not show up. I’ve put in numerous requests to have a Manager or the owner call me.
We have called DEAR services for several different plumbing and electrical issues at our home. They have not only been very responsive, but they do a really good job explaining the issue and what they are doing to fix it. Recently, Tony N came to fix our water heater and after he was done fixing it, he went above and beyond his expected work and helped me clean our dishwasher filter and check a broken faucet. I appreciated his time in explaining everything and being so thorough!
I had a backed-up tub and DEAR services came to the rescue. Their technicians were friendly, skilled, and resolved the issue quickly. I'm impressed with their professionalism and highly recommend their services.
