If you can avoid working with them I recommend that you steer clear of them. They will come on site quickly to start work but not keep you informed of any costs and double book hours for labor and equipment if you have multiple issues going on with the home. I had an additional leak happen after a dishwasher issue and the contactor was already coming to the home yet they charged travel time and work that was being done for one issue to both projects. Once they were done they disappeared and never presented a final bill or explanations until 4 months (I was waiting for them to come back for further estimates and projects and at this time a 4 month delay was par for the course for this company) later I get a late bill threatening to increase the cost even further. We contacted a couple of restoration businesses after a rental house of ours was involved in a significant fire. Capstone was chosen for our job because they were extremely thorough with the assessment of needed repairs, professional with their bid, courteous with their responses and appeared to be very honest with their judgement of the needs. Due to the age of the building and type of older construction of this rental house, Capstone took on the challenge. Because of the fire damage, many areas of the home were affected. Capstone coordinated the work efforts of each specific part of the house and brought it back up-to-date while following the building codes of our rural town. I would HIGHLY recommend Capstone! We had a sewage backup in our basement. We contacted Capstone for an estimate to repair the damages, including several "add ons". From the moment I contacted their office, I was impressed. The office staff was responsive and returned calls exactly when they said they would. They outlined when our project would be done without sugar coating the possible wait time. We had an estimate within several days. The estimate was OUTSTANDING, thorough and complete. They even gave us two estimates, one for the damage repairs, the other for the additional work we wanted done. The crew, Marty and Karen, were amazing!!
