Over the Top Roofing and Construction

Spring of 2022 I had a chimney with bricks falling off, which was allowing water to get behind them and leak to the ceiling of my house. The decision was made between OTT and myself to tear down the chimney at the roof level and replace it with a B vent running to the peak of the house through the attic. The work was done timely and apparently professionally. The communication with their workers left something to be desired, but I got past that issue. This winter I noticed water seeping through the cleanout at the bottom of the chimney in the basement. As I have since found out, a flue liner should have been installed to prevent condensation from forming in the chimney and water leaking on to my basement floor and creating rust stains on the brick (see photo). Ben showed up on time for our quote. He explained everything, answered my questions and had samples of different options for gutter guards. We received the quote and immediately knew we wanted to go with Over the Top Roofing and Construction. We based this on the promptness of both Ben and the quote. The material for the gutters and guards was the best we had seen. We paid the down-payment and were told we would be contacted by the scheduler. However, the next day it rained almost every day for the next 2 weeks. We were told they would finish the projects before us and set a date. Within a few days the "gutter team" arrived and took down our old gutters and put in our gutters and guards. The color matched perfectly, they were the larger size we requested and all the downspouts were the right length for our landscape. Best experience ever. We would recommend them Highly. The first rain after the installation showed the gutters could not take the heavy rains without any overpour

This by far has been the best team I have worked with in the last 2 years. We have done a lot of projects in our house and Over the Top showed up when they said they would, they gave us very fair pricing, they cleaned up really well and had lots of great ideas and input. Our finished project looks great and really finishes the space. I wish we could have found Rick and his team sooner to do all of our projects. It feels good to find a contractor who does what they say they are going to do and does it right the first time!
