Burkhardt Heating & Cooling

Shawn came twice to look at our AC unit. The first time he changed the capacitor and cleaned 2/3 of the outside coils and we were charged a little over $300, and our system worked for 2 days! He also signed us up for a maintenance plan. We called them back to let them know that the system was not working properly; we purchased this new system from them 2 years ago; the lady in the office told me to turn the system off because we had ice build up on our pipes until Shawn could return. On Tuesday, Shawn returned and looked at our system. He then told us that we needed to clean the coils (mind you, he had already cleaned the outside coils) and the ducts and that would be over $3000! This is ridiculous. You can’t have a system that works for a couple days, that required us to wear sweatshirts and now we have to resort to ceiling fans and box fans!! We are very displeased with this place and will be reporting them to the BBB and I will file a report with FOX6 investigators! Poor service

I bought my furnace and A/C system from Burkhardt 8 years ago and just had my furnace go through an annual service check. The service tech, Alex, was prompt and professional. He explained the state of my furnace (which was in good condition) and discussed some of the measurements with me and provided some preventative maintenance insight I was not aware of to extend the life of the furnace.
