I'm building a backyard workshop with a steeply pitched roof, 8/12 pitch, and really didn't want to try shingling it myself. I sent out 10 proposals to companies listed as factory master installers by the shingle manufacturer I wanted to use. Travis Casey at family owned Stout Roofing in Mesa, AZ gave me an extremely competitive quote, stating the same materials and installation practices of companies wanting up to 20% more. Of the other 5 companies who responded to my request, all but 1 were more expensive and wanted anywhere from 10% to 50% down payment before starting! I paid no money to Stout Roofing until the job was completed! An accident during construction put me almost 2 months behind, in the build, but Stout Roofing stood fast to their quote through the recovery period and performed an excellent install as soon as I gave them the go ahead, using all the materials recommended by the Shingle manufacturer and listed on the quote. We can not say enough about how impressed we are with Stout Roofing. Travis came out right away as we were leaving town and inspected the roof for us. He took several pictures so we could see exactly what the problems were. They came out in a timely manner to do to repairs and again took several pictures to show the progression of work so we could see exactly what they did and the end product, all for a fair price.
