Was quoted 19k for a new unit. 1st call I made to a competitor for a second opinion was $7800. 1st choice called me the next day to follow up. I told them their price was too high. They then offered to drop the price to $10500. I declined. If they would have quoted $10500 to begin with and not tried to gouge me I would have hired them. Because of their attempted price gouging I went with king mechanical and got my unit replaced for $7800. Service: HVAC system repair
Amazing same-day system replacement in hot Phoenix! I had a fantastic experience with 1st Choice Mechanical. The A/C died at one of my houses (in the desert in Phoenix, no less!) 1st Choice Mechanical was able to diagnose the issue, provide me a quote, and have the entire job finished on the same day, event while I was out of state. 1st choice mechanical is such a great company! From the beginning to the end of the experience is so streamlined. We just moved into a new home and noticed our ac wasn’t working properly and I stumbled across this business and loved that it wasn’t a huge corporation because I love supporting local businesses. They answer the call right away and are so friendly and responsive. They show up on time and send a text / call letting you know they are on their way. They assess the issue and then follow through with scheduling (their scheduling team is amazing as well and super nice). Their customer service is top notch and I couldn’t recommend them more!
