Merlin's replaced all 3 of my AC Units. They included a complete rework of my duct work and came out to address a cooling issue until everything was working perfectly. The technicians have been prompt and professional. Have been very happy with Merlin's services. Have not had any problems since living here for 4 years. Technician said on this recent checkup that the system was 20+ years old and should be replaced. Surprised still working and would be more surprised if lasted the summer. Told him we couldn't afford that at this time. We will just keep our fingers crossed.

Quoted me a price of ranging between $1200 down to $300 after saying multiple times that the price was too high. At $300 they replaced two capacitors and after replacing both, the technician tells me that it “didn’t fix the issue” and I might as well consider getting a new AC. I said I would think about it but since other capacitor he suggested to change didn’t fix the issue I asked if they could refund it. He said yes. Three weeks later I’m still contacting the office requesting an update on the refund and the “one and only person, the manager” hasn’t been in to proceed with the refund. It’s only $110 but their lack of moving forward with this refund has earned them the one star. I’ll be filing a claim dispute with my bank, along with proof of agreement of the refund and the emails from this company delaying on the refund. It seems their strategy is to cold call homeowners and then charge extremely high prices and wear the homeowner down with negotiating different costs/packages and w
