In February, we had an unexpected leak in our main water shut off valve. Was calling around, getting quotes. Merit Plumbing was very responsive, scheduling us in for a next-day, early appointment. They arrived right on time and got the job done quickly, which allowed us to feel relief the rest of the day. Will call them again the next time we have a plumbing issue!

I had Merit replace a recirculation pump about 18 months ago on one water heater I own and they did acceptable work then. The pump on a second water heater was having issues so I called them again. On the first visit, the technician turned the power off and turned it back on and said it should be fixed. It cost $185 for him to be at my home for 15 min. Of course, it didn't fix the problem. So, I called them back the next day and he said, "Yeah, the pump failed." I asked if he really thought that it failed overnight and he said yes. He said they would order a new pump and come back to replace it. After not hearing from them for two weeks, I called and the person in the office acknowledged that they never ordered the pump.
