Tucker's Cut Rate Plumbing

I love this place, been coming here for years. Never used their services, just plumbing parts, and particularly for hard to find PVC pipe at a great price. In addition to preferring to spend my $$ at a real pop & son-owned establishment vs making a million/billionaire chain-owner richer, I source the parts for our trebuchet in the annual trebuchet pumpkin-chuck contest at Patrick SFB. Every year we need some different oddball PVC pipe for low-friction load-bearing sleeves, not carried by anyone, and Tuckers always has the right ID/OD pipe in their boneyard for a pittance. Plus Mr Tucker & Mr Tucker are masters of the fine art of jive, so it's always fun to spend a few minutes with them. "If you need it we have it, if we don't have it we can order it, if we can't find it you don't need it." - True. We had initially used Tucker's back in 2010 to replace the sewage line from the house to the street. Was very pleased with the work they did. We used them again two months ago as our back bathroom was not draining well. The technician spent several hours and ran a deglogger. Not only did it not help the technician broke our $350 new toilet. He chipped the bottom edge and lied about it. After he left I found the broken chips wrapped in toilet paper in the trash. Was not happy to have to pay over $450 for the service call. Felt like the technician sand bagged to run the clock up. We have since used another local plumbing company who not only resolved our issue they did it for less than the above referenced call. I understand things change over time and you cannot get a winner all of the time but because of our experience with Tucker's we will not hire them again.

No showed me. Called on a Monday morning, they said they be there later in the day. They did not show and did not contact me at all. Wednesday 4:30 pm later, someone finally called to say they may not be able to be there that day...Um, you were supposed to be here 2 days ago. Learn how to communicate with your customers.
