Let me say this company was recommended by a friend and we couldn't be happier. The installers who came were absolutely professional, polite, and absolute hard workers. I used Sunshine for AC maintenance over the course of several years as well as to install a new hvac unit in our home before we sold it. Service was always prompt and professional, and I have recommended them to several clients as well. We have since moved to South Carolina and are no longer customers of Sunshine but I called today to ask for an unbiased professional opinion on quotes and recommendations we received for our new home (AC install and duct work). We had them install a new system 6 years ago. Ever since the system was installed, the outside unit would randomly cut off/not start/draw too much current. We gave them the benefit of the doubt of 6 years (and literally thousands of $$$, we have all the receipts/records). Finally went with a different A/C company, come to find out Sunshine had not installed the surge protection correctly and had not installed new capacitors or start kits like they claimed they did. I don't think Sunshine itself is as dishonest and incompetent, but the subcontractors they use. These guys are clueless, installing things wrong or make things worse by breaking new things.
