Roland and his management team don’t back their work. Access Heating installed a humidifier in our home and when we paid to have it serviced it failed shortly thereafter, causing a leak in our subfloor running under our kitchens wood floor. When this issue was brought to their attention, they were quick to send out technician Michael to investigate the issue. Mike stated the installation of the humidifier should never have been completed the way it was, reminder their own tech did the install and service and never once indicated this unit could be at risk. Mike promised to my and my wife’s face that the company would make sure to fix the issue by opening an insurance claim. Fast forward 3 weeks and I get an email from Roland stating that because I tampered with the unit that they were not going to be assuming responsibility for the issue and ruined floor. This was our first summer in the house and we called Access Heating & Air for an A/C tune up. The technician, Michael F. was friendly, professional and fully explained everything he was going to do. He performed an extensive inspection, complete with 24 photographs and provided a summary of his findings. He pointed out three items that could create a problem in the future but, did not push us to make immediate repairs. We agreed to one (add refrigerant) and left the other two for another time. While Michael was here we also asked him to look at 2 additional issues. The first was a constant noise at the large return vent when the system was running. He quickly diagnosed it as the vent cover design was preventing smooth air flow. He used a crimping tool to slightly open every small section of the vent and there were many (see picture).
