Sila Heating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electrical

I can’t recommend Sila highly enough- we had them replace an old oil furnace with a gas unit and add AC in 2021 and we have been floored with how helpful, honest, hard working, and knowledgeable each Sila employee has been. From the installs to the (free!) biannual service, every interaction has been highly professional and courteous. I am a very curious (and somewhat pedantic) engineer, who is constantly asking questions about how things work/challenging why they are set up the way that they are, and I have been very impressed with each and every tech I have worked with. During the twice-yearly service visits since the install, Mike S has taken the time to show me and talk me through each step of his very exhaustive checklist, explaining what he looks for and why, all the while carefully handling our system and documenting each finding. Take it from a truly nit-picky AC geek, these guys are great!

Had a really great maintenance checkup with Michael L. He explained everything about my system, answered a bunch of my questions. Very professional and very knowledgeable. He also provided a second opinion on some upcoming work I had scheduled with another company, explaining how what they wanted to do is not up to code. Overall, highly recommend Sila and Michael in particular. Service: HVAC system maintenance

Stay away from this company. They quoted us $100,000 (you read that right - ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND) for a new air conditioning system when all we ended up needing was a simple $350 repair to get our existing system working again. Several other technicians came out and told us that replacing the system was completely unnecessary, and that even if we did replace it, $100,000 was beyond price gouging (the original system cost a fraction of that and had always worked perfectly fine).
