I’m building my own home out in Romeo, MI. J Taylor was referred to me by my framing company and one of the carpenters used them on his personal home. I gave them a call and got a great price. They fit me in and worked around my schedule. Right after the framers finished the roof sheathing, J Taylor’s crew came in and did a wonderful job. They were like a well oiled machine. Great team work, it was nice to watch. They cleaned up the job site, brought out the magnets to pickup nails. Very professional crew and worked safely. I would recommend them. I had an emergency after one of our recent storms, so had to find a roofer ASAP. After attempting unsuccessfully to do business with a large local firm, a second roofer (who doesn't do steep roofs) recommended J Taylor as the outfit that they always recommend for jobs like mine. I called, got a prompt return call from the owner, and an appointment was set up for THAT DAY. I was quoted a price (my insurance adjuster had okayed a new roof), they patched my roof ON THE SPOT, and a few hours later set up an appointment for the replacement (less than a week later). They showed up at 7:30 a.m. yesterday with a crew of at least six guys, almost completed the job in one day, then finished up this morning, including adding extra vents for the attic. The price was EXTREMELY fair (even my insurance agent was surprised) and we'll be setting up an appointment for gutter guards soon. Bottom line, J Taylor Construction employs pros. Had a leak in my roof and thought we might need a new roof. Our friend recommended JTaylor Construction as they did a great job replacing their roof. Joe Taylor came out and inspected my entire roof and found the reason for the leak. Turns out all we needed was a repair which was done on the same day.
