I called RBMK to inspect and tune up our furnace before the winter. Jorge was on time and provided a detailed explanation on what he saw during the inspection. Jorge explained to me that our furnace was 21 years old and due to an issue he discovered with the heat exchanger, it was probably best to get a new furnace installed. I had several questions and Jorge answered them all thoroughly and went over all our options to resolve the issue. I never once felt like he was trying to "sell" me a furnace for the sake of selling me one. It was something we needed and Jorge was very helpful in explaining what RBMK could provide. He even told me to go out and get quotes to compare. Ultimately, we went with RBMK to install the furnace. Jorge showed up early the day of the installation and had the new furnace installed in a couple hours. Jorge is one of the rare guys in the trades that still knows how to be a good businessman. Our AC and furnace replacement was a giant hassle until we called him. We had to deal with a terrible home warranty process, several appointments with other contractors that were no call, no shows, or ridiculously over priced. Jorge was responsive, gave us a very reasonable price and did clean work. I was apprehensive about hiring a small company because you typically deal with poor customer service, and this experience reinforced that dealing with several other shops, but not RBMK. Couldn’t be happier getting this project done and I’m glad the work went to a great company. He installed a Grandaire system and also does Heil. He probably uses Baker Distributing which is ICPC/Carrier, huge supplier, so you’ll be good on parts when you need them. I was very surprised at the quality on the Grandaire.
