I reached out to several electrical contractors to install an electric vehicle charger in my garage. Aurora Pro Services' quote came in at over 4x the amount of the contractor we'll end up using. The contractor we're using is licensed, bonded, and insured and is well established and trusted in the community. The egregious price discrepancy can only mean that Aurora was trying to take advantage of us. Perhaps more important than the outrageous quote is the fact that my wife said she felt very uncomfortable around the techs that were sent out. She said they spent more time talking about household service contracts than they did about they job they were there to do. When they gave her the quote, they told her that they needed an answer immediately and would not allow her a minute to give me a call to consult.
