My business partner and worked with Ed Stinson. I believe HKC works on larger projects but they were still able to help us with a smaller repair on our slate roof and gutter patch. Ed was always responsive, communicated well, and constantly updating us along the process. Cannot say enough good things about their customer service which is hard to find nowadays. Good company. Handled a "standard with some curveballs" roof and gutter replacement project methodically and with no issues. Costs about 5-10% lower than competitive bids, and those bids submitted in the time expected. 95%+ effective cleanup. Overall presentation is a common-sense based, engineering-competent installer. We chose HKC roofing to redo leaking box gutters on our 100+ year old historic home. We could not be happier with our choice and the final product. The work was completed as described and we were billed for the exact amount they estimated to us. From the beginning, it was apparent to us that HKC was the most equipped company to do the job. Firstly, their estimate process was seamless and detailed. One of the main reasons we chose HKC is that we felt that their estimate was the most detailed and addressed an issue that other companies missed. A problem in addition to our box gutters leaking was that our chimney flashing needed replaced. The cost to redo box gutters is expensive no matter which company you choose and we did not want to spend money on a large project to still have water problems.
