After that December 2022 freeze where it dropped bellow -10, our water went out. Apex responded fast and was able to come out to our house in a timely manner. We had a pipe burst in the basement. Nate and his partner at Apex were the only plumbers we could get quickly and they were outstanding. They were professional, diagnosed and fixed the pipe quickly as well as giving good preventative advice for the future. He also recommended a good water mitigation company that has also been great. Guss replaced our dual 40 gallon hot water tanks with a single 50 gallon tank. First, he did a really good job explaining the issues and reviewing the different options. He listened to our needs and recommended that we go with the 50 gallon tank based on our usage. Second, he and his partner did an awesome job with the installation. They took great care to keep things clean, and they cleaned up after themselves once done. They had to redo the pipes and vent before installing the new tank. They also replaced the expansion tank and installed a drain pan. Third, Guss spent additional time educating me on how to watch for issues, how/when to replace the expansion tank, and how/when to flush out the tank.
