We really enjoyed working with Severin Holden. He's kind of an old fashioned company man you don't see anymore. Someone who commits wholeheartedly and works for the honor and reputation of the company. That it's bigger than himself. Not someone just doing their job. It was always important to him that we were happy, with the project laid before us--not just satisfied. He was really the standout in our experience with Neil Kelly. We've had lots of work done by NK. We like giving them a list of things to do. Much of the work was done brilliantly. Some not. Last time there were weird billing issues for a gabion and roof de-icing cables. I had to finally call the roof project to a halt and I had a hard time getting a final bill. So I had to make up my own and send a check (I hate to owe money). Maybe the start of the pandemic was the issue?

If you are considering a remodel I would recommend their Saturday morning seminars. You will learn a lot about design, process, materials, and costs. Pay attention to the Neil Kelly process, which is all about planning, setting expectations, then executing to plan.
