UGI Heating, Cooling & Plumbing

AC went out in the summer and we had a tech come diagnose the issue for $180. After being told the tech would arrive between 8am and 12pm he finally arrived a little before 4pm. No big deal. Tech assured us the unit needed a new mounting bracket and should have no problem fitting us in for the next day. Quotes the part and labor at under $100. Three days and zero update phone calls later a different tech is sent to our home. After working on our AC the tech hands me a bill for $600 to install a new blower motor. Flash forward 4 months and our heat is not working. I call UGI and they inform us that they are booked for the next 3 days and suggest calling another HVAC company. Call another company and they send a tech out. After 30 mins the tech finds wires that were not plugged back into the inducer motor. After the tech runs diagnostics to make sure there are no issues we are out an additional $300 due to UGI's improper installation. SAVE YOURSELF HEADACHES AND MONEY! DO NOT USE UGI HVA

Would highly recommend UGI's service agreement as this is fair and superior to any 3rd party company offering the same. My experiences have been stupendous both with AC and Heating repairs. Professionalism all the way through from the call center to the service techs. Even with Covid they came through with integrity. In this last repair we needed to parts for furnace and they provided a temp fix with a part that would get us through till the new parts arrived. Can't thank them enough for the outstanding service they have twice provided. They care and that is a rarity these days. Never would I use a 3rd party service provider, there's no comparison. Have had a service contract for years and it's been quite the investment. Just once experience a heating or cooling problem without service agreement and you'll understand the priceless value of this.
