While house sitting for my parents during the hottest summer days, their AC failed. I called Gochnauer for assistance and provided some information about what I had ascertained already. Michelle was able to identify over the phone that the interior unit coils had frozen solid, which meant that it would impede a technician if it wasn't defrosted ahead of time. She led me through the steps to set the unit up and take care of it while also putting in a work order to get the issue resolved as soon as possible. The following day, Jason Daugherty was sent to investigate and repair the unit. It was clear that he was knowledgeable and very professional. He saw was had caused the coils to freeze, determined that whoever had installed the thermostat had done so incorrectly, and was able to fix both of these issues in a timely manner while explaining to me what had happened and why. I was looking for this invoice and finally found it. These guys installed a dishwasher for Home Depot. I told them it was crooked. They explained to me that it had to be dead center leveled and they had to leave it like that. So I got my leveler and the bubble was still in between the lines, though not dead center and it’s perfect. But wow, they just made every excuse about how they couldn’t. Well it’s perfect now.
