From the very start of our engagement, Rich was responsive, always followed though on his promises and very easy to work with. His pricing was fair and the quality of work was excellent. We needed to get someone to repair a roof leak right before Christmas and Rich and Daryl showed up. After looking at the leak they also noticed a lot of wind damage so they recommended replacing the roof but tarped the leaking area until we could get through the process which Rich was very knowledgable and helpful with. Insurance company agreed with what Rich had stated. We scheduled a date for the repair. The crew showed up on that date and did an excellent job with the removal and replacement of the shingles and even more importantly cleaning up after they were done. Black people do not use. I requested a roof repair quote for my single 80 year old aunt that has dementia. Due to her illness her home fail into major disrepair and we are now discovering the extent of the problems. This company recommended a new roof, which is fine as we do not know how old the current roof is or that it had been previously repaired. Rather than giving a full detailed quote for a new roof, he stated its in the ball park of $10k he later stated we should just “patch it up and sell”. Work he said he would NOT perform. The home is currently under renovation and the roofer noticed the home had other issues. How did he come to the conclusion we wanted to sell our aunts home rather than putting a budget together ? My Aunts wishes from her healthier days was to stay in her home, the roofer simply needed to give a quote on a new roof. Not provide his real estate opinion.
