We had an issue with water damage on our roof causing a hole in it and damage down a seam. I called Ken and he was able to give me an estimate on the phone based on pictures of the damage. Hornsby Roofing was recommended to us by a trusted and respected long-term HVAC contractor in our area. Based on that referral, we called Ken, he provided a direct, clean, and honest estimate of what we needed. We did our due diligence and sought five other estimates from other companies. Half of the other firms were higher in cost and did a song and dance about their products and added services and all that noise. The other half offered lower estimates but wanted huge sums up front (to either pocket or use to fund materials because their credit is shot) or wouldn't be able to get to us for a year. Ken was direct, honest, and straight up. We signed off on the estimate with Ken, and his brother and crew were here 15 minutes early on the day that they said they'd be here. The first half of the day, they did a textbook tear-off of the old roof, keeping mess, and even noise to a minimum. Second half of the day, they put on the new roof and cleaned up.
