We first had contact with this company when we had a home warranty and our air conditioner failed in July. We were told the warranty company could not get us service for two weeks and the temperatures were then in the 100's. Called several other companies and the only one who showed up that day was Yearwood. He got us going again and running and the charge was unbelievably reasonable. Over the next two years the unit again failed regularly in July and again Yearwood quickly nursed it back to life. We finally decided to replace this 30 year old unit and sought bids from several companies. One even promised us a free furnace. Yearwood came through with the best price and even including the cost of a new furnace was far less than the free furnace deal. His people installed the new system and it works well and has not failed for 3 years a win win for us. We still get to see Bill and his great staff at least once a year as they come to check and make sure our system is still at its peak per

Mr. Yearwood and his assistant were quick to respond to my call and were professional. I didn't want to pay overtime hours for the issue with our heater, but was told it was $85 for service call and estimate and they came at 5:30pm. They proceeded to explain it could be one of two issues after looking at it for a few minutes- board or flame sensor as the unit was short cycling. After a few more minutes outside getting his meter, they decided it was just the flame sensor that needed to be cleaned and the high limit sensor and proceeded to do these things in about 15-20 minutes. I finally learned the price of this visit when the bill was being written up. $165 to clean the flame sensor (brand new part is $10-20, but just cleaned it from what was said) and I assume they replaced the high limit switch (again $10-20 for part). I've used Mr. Yearwood since I moved into this house. Initially I called him because he is based out of Collierville also. He responds promptly to requests for service. The tech that came out recently (Mike) was different than the one I had dealt with before (John), but a very nice and thorough guy. I will continue to use this company for the foreseeable future.
