I give one star because that is the lowest you can go. I had two brand new units installed at my place of business one year ago today during the build-out. The total cost was over $10,000. They have never worked to my satisfaction. I have placed service call after service call. I was asked to buy a thermometer and send them pictures to prove that the thermostat was faulty - this was after they moved it and left a gaping hole in the wall for months. In fact, the units perform so poorly I hired another company to come in and make sure they were new units. They are new units, however, several shortcuts were taken in the installation that will shorten the life of the units. I notified Gemini and asked them to correct the problems but to this date I don't know that it has been corrected since I can't get on the roof to check fan belts, drain connections, etc. I can't say how disappointed I am with this company and with my general contractor for hiring them. Hill Country Pro and Gemini have done all the work on our Church HVAC and done a good job since the new building was built. They have done a very good job, sometimes even providing same day "emergency" service calls. BUT, when I let them bid on a new HVAC system for my house, I really got a sense for who they are as a company. There pricing was VERY competitive and ALL my questions were answered promptly. Their crew was on time and even though it was a muddy day, not a bit inside. They were nice, explaining things and answering my questions as they went. The install was half a day, just what they said it would be. The guys did an excellent job, after they left I had only one issue which they promptly resolved. Thanks Gemini - Ashley, Shad, Roberto - You guys are my "go-to" for HVAC.
