We decided that we needed a new roof. The current roof was still in good shape and did not leak. We decided to go with Kimball Strickland and the stone coated metal shingle that he recommended. We purchased a lifetime metal shingle. The problems started at the tear off, our rain gutters were bent, mangled and barely hanging on, they were full of roofing nails and debris. I had asked before the tear off started if I needed to remove the rain gutters and was told I did not. When the old shingles were removed from the roof, black marks were left on the siding. Beware! Kimball Roofing’s work is low quality, they are anxious to sell unnecessary work and they are very willing to waste your time. Kimball himself came out to do the preliminary inspection for a small leak from an exhaust pipe exiting the roof. We rejected the ridgeline vent, because we had already added 4 turtle vents a couple of years earlier, which serve the same purpose and felt like we were being sold unnecessary work. We accepted the leak repair and the turtle vent repair. They came out promptly and replaced the turtle vent and worked on the exhaust pipe leak. It rained a few days later and the roof leaked again in the same place. The turtle vent replacement had not issues. I called them and asked them to come out again and resolve the leak. Kimball came out
