Cyprus Air Heating, Cooling and Fireplaces

I need a new combo HVAC/gas heat system installed. Since I've heard this company's advertisements on the radio a lot, I thought I would get a quote from them. My appointment window was from 8-9 am, so I expected the person to show up in the middle of that window and that I would be the first appointment of the day. He did not show up on time. When I called to ask why, the agent I spoke to was not able to contact him, either. She finally heard from him while we were on the phone and he had apparently been stuck in traffic. This is understandable, but all other service companies I have worked with seem to have a policy that they call either the customer or the dispatcher to let them know that they are running late due to traffic. The dispatcher I was on the phone with also did not seem to be familiar with if there was a policy they had about calling or not when they would be late. Be wary of the overcharge by this company. While they promised a refund, nothing happened until a dispute was launched with the credit card company to get money back. Another thing: they may increase the annual maintenance fee without advanced notice and the charge may go well over what you expect, completely ignoring the terms and conditions of the agreement. Moreover, whenever you contact the customer service, they appeared indifferent and rude to customers for whatever they did wrong.

The experience with Cyprus has been one of the most frustrating experiences I have gone through, and I have remodeled my entire house. They were responsive and timely, until they received the final payment and then they fell off the map. They did not return my calls, did not show up for appointments, told me they would call when things were ready and never did. After I called them over 15 times, my gas fireplace is still not installed. No matter how many times I ask to speak to a manager or someone that can hear my complaints, they refuse to transfer me to anyone that can actually help. Terrible customer service.
