Beware: I called Ed for help reconnecting the above-ground power line to my garage plus a couple smaller related things, I was told prior to the appt the fee for the visit would be $120-150, with the reassurance that it was “very likely he would fix something” during that first visit. He requested photos of the downed wire situation so he could “come prepared”. Once he was here, he explained that I would have to locate and purchase the necessary wire online and there was nothing he could do in the meantime. When it came time to pay him, he looked at his watch and said the fee would be $200 for the visit, and it would not apply to the eventual job. I questioned him about that increase from his original quote and he mumbled something about how he “had to do some other things”. All he did was help me identify what circuit the line was connected to and he removed some old wire housing on the exterior of the house, which took about 10 min. Nothing else. Ed is wonderful! very professional and knowledge, he explains what he is doing and makes it understandable for lay people. I had outlets in the kitchen that had stopped working over a year ago, I thought that just because I wasn't using them it was fine but he explained that the electric is still going to the outlet and some of the wires were fried, so don't wait if you have an issue. Dealing with E.Z. Electricity was very "EASY" because of Mr.Ed Z.!!! I need to have my house electrical panel looked at as well as idea for my Electric-Car.
