It's never a good sign when you get to know your plumber well. However, if you do find yourself in such a situation, hope that your plumber is Jason J. from MD Plumbing. From the very beginning we knew Jason was our guy for the rather large undertaking of a complete home repipe. The first company we reached out to, the plumber who came out to do the estimate essentially measured distance and counted fixtures to calculate the estimate. Jason, however, got under the house to "look under the hood." He came back to us with recommendations for how best to do the job, and even discovered the upstairs was plumbed with undersized pipes that he would fix with the repipe. I really, really appreciated the thoroughness of the estimate, as it was a sign that a similar attention to detail and workmanship would be applied in the actual repair. To no surprise, Jason's quote came in significantly less than the other company, primarily because of the work he put into the estimate allowed him to write on
