Had Todd do a total tear off and replacement on 3 high recommendations from friends who had just had roofs done by him - called for an estimate and he came out right away gave us an email with estimate sent out samples of colors of the shingles we never even got estimates from any other company - sent the contract in and within a day he called and said he’d be at our house with in a few days - dropped off the dumpster crew arrived early and they started the job - at the end of the first day when we got home from work I was expecting a mess ? And was so impressed that other than the dumpster you wouldn’t know we were having work done - driveway , yard and landscaping had all been cleaned up - no debris on back deck - very clean - at the end of the job roof is beautiful and again driveway was clean no nails they even put everything on the back deck in the exact spot it was before they began - very impressed - we had a little section of siding on our house that was loose and also an old s

We chose Fritz for a tear off/replacement of our garage roof because of price and some positive recommendations on Next Door. Positives: • Their price was significantly less than the quote from the company that did our house roof. • The exact estimate was TBD based the number of plywood sheets needed. The invoice reflected the agreement accurately. • They were able to start very soon after we accepted the quote. • They completed the work in 1 day, as promised. • The work looks good. Negatives: • They agreed to be careful of plants and bushes but apparently didn’t pass it along to the crew. • Driving in a massive boom truck to drop off materials and a dumpster may be fast and cost-effective but it is very destructive on smaller lots. They literally broke off chunks of my driveway. They drove that truck 2 feet into my neighbor’s garden and left it torn up. I saw the man directing the driver stomp through my ground cover and bushes, not even glancing down to see where he was walking. • Th

Back at the end of April I received an estimate from Todd Fritz Inc. Their offering looked on par with the others I was dealing with and their price was about what I was expecting. So I signed off on the estimate and figured that I'd be told approximately when the work would start fairly soon after. Well, that never happened, even after asking explicitly for that information twice (once via email, once by calling their office). It's now the middle of July, I've received no emails or calls whatsoever, so I've decided to move on with a different contractor. Of course, I can't speak to the quality of their work at all. But to me communication is pretty important (I expect it is for you as well) and it speaks volumes about their organization, especially since the salesperson I was dealing with stated that he was one of the owners.
