Not happy with the trip fee. When I called, I expected the service worker to come out, run a gas line of about 8 feet long, and charge a few hundred dollars. I'd have to hook it up to my fireplace myself, but that was not a problem for me to do. However, I got an estimate for $2,000+ for this work. Ridiculous. When I said that seemed like a lot of money for an approximate 8 foot run to my meter, he understood. He did, however, let me know that I would need to pay the trip charge of $90. That's $90 to take some pictures (all above ground) and give me an estimate. Yes, that's correct. Nothing against the tech because he was by no means unprofessional, but I am very disappointed in this company. Seriously, this is a shameful way to treat a prospective customer, and this put me over the edge to look for another company who would gladly offer an estimate for free. Or at the very least not charge this exorbitant of a price for would be such a simple job.

Total miscommunication with their customer care team. When I called to schedule an appointment, I asked if they did a particular service. They confirmed they do, so I went ahead and scheduled a technician to come out. Technician came out to tell me they don’t do that particular service—and they wanted me to pay $100 for the visit. Update: Received the message below. I’ve been calling the number all morning to discuss, but only get a message that no one is available at this time. Nice! Update 2: Customer service reached out and not only refunded the appointment fee, but also worked with me to try to find a potential solution. Changed review to four stars. Update 3: Never received refund. Left four messages and was never called back. Changed review back to one star.

After a unexpected drain back up. I was expecting to have to wait before we got a resolution. Enter Thomas & Galbraith! They came out the very next morning even showing up earlier than originally planned. The tech Joe was thorough and managed to get a scope out while he was there! They gave me multiple options with varying price points to get it fixed and offered financing that was reasonable. I would definitely contact them again! Services: Drain cleaning, Sewer cleaning
