I highly recommend John Garlow and Clarke Kent Plumbing! I had an unusual issue: a prior contractor had allowed concrete to be poured in my toilet drain pipe and solidify. As a result, the pipe was partially blocked and we had serious issues with clogging in that toilet. Two prior plumbers came out and threw their hands in the air, telling me the only solution was to chip away the foundation around that pipe and replace it. When John arrived, he was on time, professional and told me that he thought he could resolve the issue without costly demolition and replacement. It was not an easy task, but John never gave up and, ultimately, fully resolved my issue without destroying my flooring and foundation. If you have a plumbing issue, these are the guys to call. I made an appointment for a shower pipe leak that turned out to be a relatively simple job as the pipe just needed some new paste and tape. Unfortunately, while loosening the shower fixture the plumber was not paying enough attention and the majority of the fixture fell. Although I struggled to understand how the plumber could not see that part of the fixture was not screwed into the pipe and would separate when being removed, I understand that accidents happen. However, after resuming the job, the plumber then ended up heavily scratching up the shower fixture when tightening it back up. The plumber also applied what seemed like a pretty amateur silicone caulk as the finishing touches. The caulk was very messy and was missing in some areas, also started cracking the next day so I ended up just removing it and doing it myself after the plumber had left. Toilet started to leak from its base when flushed. Called Clarke Kent at 8 am on a Monday morning. They had a standby plumber available. He called at 8:30, was there by 9:00, diagnosed leak as caused by an old worn out wax ring, removed the toilet, installed a new wax ring, reinstalled it, re-caulked around the base and cleaned up everything before he left.
