McCullough replaced my two systems about 2 1/2 years ago. Today my downstairs unit stopped working. With 107 degree heat today I thought it might take some time to have someone check it out. They had James, an incredible technician come out within an hour. James was wonderful! Quickly diagnosed my issue and fixed it on the spot. I have their service plan and it was so worth it. When I replaced my systems I entertained multiple bids. They were not the lowest bid but from my first interaction with Chris who explained the system, to installation, to service and maintenance calls it has been a great experience. You can not go wrong with McCullough.
My recent experience with McCullough has been a mixed bag. On the positive side, I encountered some dedicated individuals in the team who worked diligently to install and later resolve issues with my HVAC system. However, the overall experience leaves much to be desired. The initial installation process went smoothly, but a critical oversight emerged regarding the accessibility of my water heater. It took an extensive back-and-forth email exchange to arrive at a solution. While McCullough did eventually address the issue by re-routing the return ducts, the resolution process was protracted and required a significant time investment on my part. What's disappointing is that there was a lack of ownership and proactive communication from McCullough's end throughout this ordeal. Even though I invested considerable time and effort to find a solution, there was no goodwill refund offered for the hours spent. Fantastic service. Our technician, Desmond, was professional, nice and knowledgeable. He took great care of us. McCullough has consistently excellent customer service and highly trained technicians. They were able to make it out the same day and called me during the day to give me a status on when our technician would be out.
